Brian Kohr
President and General Manager

Brian has served as CSafe LLC’s President and General Manager since 2008. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Wright State University. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Brian is the President and CEO of AcuTemp Thermal Systems. He serves on several privately held Boards of Directors including CSafe LLC. He also serves as Chairman of the Board for the non-profit Entrepreneurs Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Brian has a passion for successfully meeting the cold chain management requirements of each CSafe customer. His desire is to provide them with the highest performing thermal products and services so that each life-saving or life-enhancing payload shipped in an CSafe AcuTemp RKN reaches its destination at The Right Temperature® without exception.

Kathy Goh
Director of Business Development

Kathy Goh joined CSafe as Director of Business Development – Asia Pacific in April 2012.  She is responsible for increasing business with existing and new customers within life sciences and working with our airline and forwarder partners. Kathy has a Bachelor of Business Administration, including a major in international marketing, from the National University of Singapore.  She is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

Kathy is a great asset to our APAC customers.  She has extensive experience in management positions within express shipping and clinical trials logistics, utilizing both active and passive cold chain solutions.  Her professional successes with Fisher Clinical, TNT Express and FedEx Express allow her unique insight and understanding of the complexity of temperature-sensitive shipping and its challenges.  From her location in Singapore, she is positioned to bring CSafe’s premier cold chain management solution closer to our partners and clients in Asia Pacific, realizing the demand for cold chain transportation is growing and so is the requirement to keep up with the stringent quality management of high value, temperature-sensitive cargo.

Mark Mohr
Director of Customer Support & Partner Management

Mark Mohr joined CSafe LLC in July 2011 as Director of Partner Management. In this newly created position, Mark will help existing airline partners grow and enhance their cold chain services by using the highly-regarded CSafe AcuTemp RKN. He will also lead the company’s expansion of its global airline partner network as well as provide support to CSafe’s Sales Directors.

Mark comes to CSafe with over thirty years of experience in sales, business development, marketing and process management. He has extensive experience in the air cargo business with DHL, United Airlines and Continental Airlines. Prior to joining CSafe, Mark spent the last five years in a leadership role developing and expanding ClimateSecure, Continental’s cold chain program. He was account director for United Airlines Cargo’s general sales agent (GSA) operation in the US, and before that held various sales and operational positions at DHL Worldwide Express. Mark served on the International Air Transport Association’s “Time and Temperature Task Force” charged with enhancing and expanding airline regulations related to proper handling of temperature-controlled healthcare shipments.

Jonathan Neeld
Director of Certification & Regulatory Compliance

Jonathan is the Director of Certification & Regulatory Compliance at CSafe. With more than 20 years of expertise in the design and certification of aviation and regulatory products, Jonathan specializes in the development, certification and regulatory compliance of our Active Temperature Control Containers.

His area of strength lies in his ingenuity associated with innovative product development, combined with high performance reliability, aligned with exceeding customers and regulatory bodies stringent requirements. His work on the CSafe AcuTemp RKN containers gained both FAA and EASA regulatory approvals for the CSafe active containers, which is an industry leading first.

He is actively involved with various industry working groups including IATA ULD Technical Panel, ULD Care, SAE aviation committee and PDA Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group to name a few. Participation in these working groups by industry experts is paramount to enable the publication of standard operational procedures and safety guidelines for the Aviation and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Rick Rackley
Director of Service Partners

Rick joined CSafe LLC in September 2009 as Quality Manager and assumed the management of CSafe’s global service center network and has since been instrumental in its expansion.  Previously Rick was Corporate Director of Quality for US operations with a private aerospace business.  He has over 25 years of diversified experience in quality management, manufacturing, structural steel applications and aerospace.  His certifications and accreditations include FAA 145 repairman, DMIR and RAB and has been a member of PDA PCCIG (Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group) since 2009.

Rick makes it a priority to locate and approve only service center locations that can meet the CSafe criteria to maintain the highest levels of operational integrity with their in-service fleet.  He is responsible for the CSafe quality management system, regulatory production approval, and training at service center, airline partners, and pharmaceutical companies.  Rick utilizes his advanced knowledge of active temperature controlled containers managing the Corporate EQUiP accreditation program.

Valerie (Jansson) Rowlands
Director of Business Development - Europe, Middle East and Africa

Appointed Director of Business Development in October 2010, Valerie (Jansson) Rowlands leads CSafe’s business development efforts in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Valerie promotes CSafe product, develops strategic customer relationships and focuses on partner programs.

Valerie has over twenty years of account management, logistic and supply chain experience. Prior to joining CSafe, LLC, Valerie was the Industry Sector Leader/UK and Ireland for one of the world’s leading freight forwarding companies, working within the Life Science/Pharmaceutical Market Sector. Prior to this role, she worked extensively in Europe, the Nordics and Americas within the logistics and transportation field.

Valerie is focused on the continued development of CSafe sales in the EMEA region, strategic customer development, and development of airline partner relationships for the transport of temperature-sensitive products for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
 
Valerie received her B.A. from the University of Missouri and studied at the Stockholm Citizens University.

Jeff Sitzlar
Director of Business Development – Americas

Jeff joined CSafe, LLC as Director of Business Development – Americas in January 2012. In this newly created position, Jeff is responsible for developing new business, with the primary focus being on the continued growth in the utilization of the CSafe AcuTemp RKN by life science companies for the shipment of their high value payloads. Jeff will work directly with our life science customers alongside CSafe's global airline and forwarder partners.

Mr. Sitzlar brings a wealth of expertise to CSafe, including many years as a Worldwide Account Manager for Strategic Healthcare Sales for FedEx. At FedEx, Jeff focused on their range of temperature-controlled services offerings. Jeff also held positions within FedEx Custom Critical and has extensive knowledge and experience solving customer's cold chain challenges. At CSafe, Jeff will use his years of experience in the cold chain industry to support the unique requirements of life science companies.
